The best authentic street tacos I’ve had by a landslide. The service and vibes were great. Perfect place for a date, or for lunch. Service was quick. They had plenty salsa options from pineapple salsa, mild to extra hot. I had a blackberry margarita that was delicious and didn’t just taste like juice lol. In all, it was a very pleasurable experience for me and my taste buds.

This is our new favorite Mexican joint in town. We’ve been twice now and it was 5’s across the board both times. The rice is SO good, it fills both belly and soul. The street tacos are what we’ve been getting so far, but we’re excited to try other stuff! They have a bar of different salsas made in-house that you can help yourself to (big plus). The space is super clean and new, but the service is what really stands out: they’re helpful, attentive, and REALLY quick! I’ve already told like 15 people about this place — you’ve gotta check it out.
Recently moved to KY from South Florida, and was quickly giving up for finding high quality international food in the area. I had it all in the cuisine melting pot before, but what I missed most was the savory meats of Latin American cuisine. El Charro saved me from disappointment! I order 5 of their birria tacos for lunch on their Taco Tuesday special for a very good price, and I leave feeling happy and full every time. Their street tacos hold up with the best I’ve had, and everything from the tortillas to meat in their birria tacos is done right. The staff is kind, attentive and hard-working too. Highly recommend
The best tacos in Lexington!! The owners are such nice people and the food couldn’t be better. They have 3.99 happy hour margaritas that are so good. I have tried a lot of Mexican restaurant in Lex but this is my favorite. We typically come here once a week because it’s that good!

Two words to describe this place, bomb diggity. My favorite Mexican food in Lex. My husband and I have tried a few different items from their menu and everything has been so so good! I would definitely recommend getting the steak tacos and stacking up on their huge assortment of salsas they have available. I do have to mention that I’m a bean girl and their beans are beaning. They are the perfect consistency and taste UHMAZING! Last thing I have to mention is the service is really REALLY good. Super friendly staff and very attentive.
The owners are so kind and the food was absolutely fantastic. I came for lunch on Saturday and after being treated so well returned for taco Tuesday. Saturday I had the burrito and it was huge and had great flavor. For taco Tuesday I tried 1 of each taco and the guacamole. Everything was so fresh and flavors were great. I will continue to give this place my business as they are wonderful people.
